His talents as a DJ, Remixer and DJ for the MULTI PLATINUM selling band Texas have taken him far and wide around the globe. His musical style is diverse enough to offer a fusion of Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, House, Tech House, Jackin House, NU Disco, which are reflected in both his DJ sets and his remixes.
At the early age of 13 Mark got interested in DJ’ing after witnessing a former DMC UK Mixing Championship Finalist practicing, after a few years of practicing himself he went on to be the UK Northwest Mixing Champion in a number of competitions in 1991,1992,1993 & 1995.

During this period Mark co-produced a number of radio shows in the Manchester area. Not satisfied with just being a competitive DJ and a radio presenter Mark switched his mixing skills to night clubs, Dj’ing at many high profile club events in the UK and eventually expanding to many venues around the world, including most of the high profile festivals throughout Europe. Since that time Mark has played alongside a large number of high profile DJ’s – Grandmaster Flash, Judge Jules, The Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Freestylers, Ninja Tunes, Goldie, Scratch Perverts) Mark was the supporting DJ for Madonna at the Brixton Academy.

Since then Mark has remixed a large number of high profile artists (J.lo, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Dr Dre, Destiny’s Child) and achieved a show reel many would be impressed with. Mark has recently had releases on Stoney Boy Music alongside Stonebridge, Olav Basoski, Ron Carroll, Todd Terry, Kathy Brown, and has featured on Roger Sanchez Release Yourself Show. Co-Owner of Anything House (Rough Moose Records) with his production partner SuGa.

Turning his attention to the world of education, Mark is the curator of the GCSE curriculum in DJing for exam boards OCR, AQA, and Eduquas.

Curator and examiner for the world’s first accredited graded examinations with London College of Music (Grades 1,3, and 5) approved and regulated by Offqual.

Guest lecturer at Royal Northern College of Music teaching the influence DJs have had within the music industry as part of the Pop Music degree course.

Brains Powered By Music CIC Co-founder, providing accredited post-16 provisions & higher education programmes for individuals who do not meet the criteria for traditional UK higher education.
